Designed for beginners to gain experience from a much shorter course
The Mini Tour is designed for beginners with little course experience. The Mini Tour division usually takes place at the end of the main competition. The mini tour players play from the “Mini Tour” tee markers which are much further forward than the main tees. This makes the course a lot shorter and easier to play.
We set a target of shooting +18 or below before qualifying to move into the handicap divisions. We reward each player for starting in the mini tour and progressing to the next level. Once you move into the Bronze division you can start to achieve a handicap, play for prizes and take part in the Order of Merits!
Every Mini Tour event is Gross Medal. We cap each hole to 10 shots maximum. Three shots maximum out of bunkers.
This is to encourage players to enjoy themselves and to speed up the pace of play.
The Golf Genius app is the best and easiest way to enter events.
You can even edit your profile and view the results and live leaderboard through this. We really recommend it!
